Mark Stephen Vogel, 56, of Smithsburg, MD, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 27, 1963 to the late Cletus Joseph Vogel, Sr. and Helen Smith Vogel. Mark graduated from North Hagerstown High School in 1981. He was a master electrician and was previously self-employed but had recently worked for AC&T for 10 years. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Karen Vogel, his sons, Thomas Vogel and his wife, Sarah and Kyle Vogel, his siblings, Carl Vogel and his wife, Robin, Karen Vogel, Paul Vogel and his wife, Michelle, and Cletus Vogel, Jr., and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Family and friends are welcomed for a visitation on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 6-8pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard in Hagerstown. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hagerstown. In honor of Mark, the family requests that guests dress casually and comfortably as Mark would have wanted everyone to be welcome, relaxed, and to enjoy each others company.
