MARJORIE MARIE HARBAUGH, 86, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died Friday, May 24, 2013 at Meritus Medical Center. Born April 28, 1927 in Williamsport, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Brewer and Katherine Louise Shipley Rhodes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar K. Harbaugh. She was previously employed with Alkan Label Mill for ten years and Washington County Board of Education in the cafeteria for seven years. Marjorie was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary; AMVETS post 10 Auxiliary, Fraternal Order of the Eagles #694 Auxiliary and Dixon Troxell American Legion Funkstown Post 211 Auxiliary. She is survived by four daughters, Wava Arlene Barker of Williamsport, Carol Viola Ecton of Keedysville, Angela Marie Smith of Charles Town, WV and Kathryn Elaine Lapole of Hagerstown; three sons, Calvin Eugene Harbaugh of Williamsport, Gregory Allen Harbaugh of Clear Spring and Randy Wayne Harbaugh of Hagerstown; one sister, Betty Katherine Grove of Williamsport; one brother, Cecil Garfield Rhodes of Williamsport; a grandson she raised, David Weaver II; twenty-seven grandchildren; thirty- six great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Cynthia Louise Smith; one grandchild, three great grandchildren; three brothers, Thomas Rhodes, Russell Rhodes and William Rhodes. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Robert V. Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland 21742.
