Obituary

MARILYN ANN RUDOW, 76, of Hagerstown, Maryland, began eternal life on October 23, 2010 after a two year battle with cancer. She was born April 8, 1934 in Marysville, Kansas to Ernest and Norma Belle Meyer. She devoted her life to her four daughters and her husband as well as her church and community. She served her church as a pianist, organist, an active participant in the Lutheran Women�s Missionary League (LWML), choir, evening Bible study, Sunday School Teacher and Angel Food Distribution. She served her community as a member of the Washington County Hospital Auxiliary in the Escort Service for 30 years. She also served with the Brightwood Acres Homemakers for many years. She is survived by her husband Donald, her daughters Carol Rudow, Donna Reiser (Bob), Cindy Golem (Ron) of Maryland, and Diane Saxon (Jeff) of Pawleys Island, South Carolina, a sister, Marian Muehl (Vern) of Warren, Michigan and many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Hagerstown with Rev. Emil Gretarsson officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard in Hagerstown. Memorials may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church, 17906 Garden Lane, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740 or Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland 21742.
