MARIAN ELIZABETH EBERHART, 96, a resident of Homewood at Williamsport, Williamsport, Maryland, died on Wednesday, April 4, 2007. Born June 23, 1910 in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late George Aaron and Amanda Farnsworth Reed. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Private Edward T. Williams, Sunbury, PA, who was killed in action in World War II and by her second husband, Paul McCloud Eberhart, Sr., Hagerstown, MD. She was a member of John Wesley United Methodist church since 1963. She volunteered at Western Maryland Hospital for thirty years, and was also a volunteer visitor at Reeders Memorial Home in Boonsboro, Maryland. She was a member of the Hagerstown Lioness, and the Hagerstown Garden Club. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Grissinger of Santa Ana, California and Virginia Summers of Lakewood, Washington; two sons, Paul M. Eberhart, Jr. of Hagerstown, and Donald Williams of Newark, Delaware; five grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 9, 2007 at The Homewood Chapel. Rev. John Cozzoli will officiate.
