MARIA DIANNA MARTZ, 63, a resident of Reeders Memorial Home in Boonsboro, Maryland, passed peacefully into Heaven to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at the Western Maryland Hospital Center in Hagerstown. Born September 2, 1949, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late David L. Martz, Sr., and Janice E. (Rice) Martz Kline. She was a 1967 graduate of Boonsboro High School. She was employed by K-Mart in Frederick, Maryland, until her retirement. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Rohrersville, Maryland. She is survived by one daughter, Erin Baltozer of Boonsboro, Maryland; one son, David Baltozer of Boonsboro; and two brothers, David L. Martz, Jr., and wife, Jo-Ann, of Hagerstown, and Dana Martz of Boonsboro. Maria enjoyed her cats. A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the Gapland Christian Church, 2812 Rohrersville Road, Rohrersville, Maryland. The church is on the right, 7 miles south of Alternate 40 on Maryland 67. Final resting place will be at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Locust Grove Road, Rohrersville.
