MARGARET M. "Sis" RICHARDS, 85, of Hagerstown, Maryland, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Julia Manor Nursing Home. Born October 17, 1927, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late George Wendell Lushbaugh, Sr. and Viola Mary Mowen Lushbaugh. She attended Hagerstown High School. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was a member of Boonsboro American Legion Auxiliary, and Amvets Auxiliary. She enjoyed bingo, playing cards, bowling, and taking care of her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Russell Richards, Sr.; one daughter, Trisha Calandrelle, and fianc, Bob Daniels, of Martinsburg, West Virginia; six sons, Mark S. Brezler, Jr., and wife, Judy, Ronnie B. Brezler, Sr., and wife, Cindy, Brian L. Brezler, and wife, Colleen, and Kevin S. Richards, and fianc, Celena McNairn, all of Hagerstown, Stephen K. Brezler, and wife, Lisa, of Salisbury, Maryland, and Russell E. Richards, Jr., and wife, Tammy, of Cascade, Maryland; one brother, C. Ronald Lushbaugh, Sr., and wife, Dixie, of Hagerstown; nineteen grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildlren; son in law, Lenny McCarney. She was preceded in death by a daughter on January 11, 2013, Susan R. McCarney; six sisters, Frances Varnum, Helen Kendall, Irma Myers, Sarah J. Shifler, Laura J. Lushbaugh, and Julia C. Walter; and one brother, George W. Lushbaugh, Jr. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p. m. Monday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. The Rev. Steve Wagoner will officiate. Inurnment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 to 8 p. m. at the funeral home.
