MARGARET ARLENE DELLINGER, 90, of 20014 Rosebank Way, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Tuesday, May 04, 2010 at the Washington County Hospital. Born February 10, 1920 in Washington County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William H. Sayles, Sr. and Margaret Ruth Tetlow Sayles. She was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Dellinger in 1953. She was employed by R. D. McKee, retiring in 1985, and also by Sharrett Motors. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a member of B. P. W., and volunteered for many years with the Washington County Chapter of the American Red Cross, and the Hagerstown Community College. She is survived by one daughter, Anita Buchanan, and husband, Edward, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; one son, W. Blaine Dellinger of St. Augustine, Florida; one sister, Kathryn A. Chrisman of Hagerstown; one brother, William H. Sayles, Jr. of Williamsport, Maryland; five grandchildren, N. Danielle Buchanan, Jeff Buchanan, and wife, Lynda, Chris Dellinger, and wife, Carley, Michael Dellinger, and wife Nicole, and Lindsay Dellinger; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Earl J. Sayles. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Friday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. Rev. Robert C. Lehman will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 8 p. m.
