MARGARET J. (MOTSY) CONRAD, 97, of Frederick, Maryland, and formerly of Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, Maryland. Born May 27, 1910 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Clara Leah Harper. She was preceded in death by her husband of seventy years, John H. Conrad in 1999. She is survived by two daughters, Faye R. Bevard of Frederick, Maryland, and Lois A. Conrad of Gaithersburg, Maryland; three sons, Jack O. Conrad of Hagerstown, Glen E. Conrad of Hedgesville, West Virginia, and Earl H. Conrad of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania; one brother, Robert Harper of Richmond, Virginia; and twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Frances Doarnberger, and three brothers, Grover, Harold and William Harper. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Monday at the Emmanuel Baptist Temple, 16221 National Pike, Hagerstown. Rev. Dr. Larry Aikens and Rev. Dr. Ed Hampton will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Hagerstown. Family will receive friends at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard on Sunday from 2 to 4 p. m. and 7 to 9 p. m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Missionary Fund at Emmanuel Baptist Temple, 16221 National Pike, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740.
