Margaret Fear Clopper, 91, of Greencastle, PA, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021, at her home. Born May 2, 1929 in Magnolia, WV, she was the daughter of the late Vernon Edward and Lillian Sarah (Parker) Shambaugh. Margaret was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Fear, and her second husband, Max Clopper. She was a member of First Wesleyan Church. Margaret is survived by three daughters, Wanda Giffin, Shirley Householder, and Brenda Clopper; two special granddaughters, Tiffany Shank and Tonya Rivera; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marilyn Beaver, Betty Ruppenthal, and Erma Dawson, and one brother, Roland Shambaugh. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Ritter; two sons, Vernon Fear and Steve Fear; five grandchildren, Jenny, Ricky, Heather, Candy and Tommy. The funeral service will be held 1pm on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD, with Rev. Robert Swank, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, April 16, 2021, from 6-8pm.
