Lynwood S. Forsyth, 59, of Hagerstown, Maryland passed away on July 7, 2018. Born March 28, 1959, he was the son of the late Stanford V. Forsyth and Elizabeth D. (Kundrat) Forsyth. Lynwood graduated from South Hagerstown High School in 1977. Lynwood was a member of IBEW Local #307, Sons of the American Legion, and Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks. He enjoyed classic rock, loaded baked potatoes, science fiction, and tracking atmospheric changes via the Weather Channel. A self-proclaimed "jack of all trades, but a master of none," there wasnt a job that was too big or unexpected when it came to helping a friend or family member who asked for his assistance. He is survived by his wife, Krista (Stevenson) Forsyth; son, Kyle Forsyth and wife Tiffanie of Fairfax, VA; son Joel Forsyth of Tampa, FL; and two grandchildren, Madelynn Forsyth and Mason Forsyth. In addition to his parents, Lynwood was preceded in death by his brother, Stanford V. Forsyth. A private graveside service will be at the convenience of the family.
