LYNN HAMILTON GRIFFITH, 76, of Boonsboro, Maryland, went to Heaven on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Meritus Medical Center. Born August 12, 1936, in Keedysville, Maryland, he was the son of the late Harry H. Griffith, Sr. and Marjorie A. Abbott Griffith. Lynn owned and operated Antietam Paint and Body Shop since 1968. He worked as an auto body repair man since he was 16 years old. He loved to go fishing, boating and watching westerns. He is survived by his loving wife and companion for 37 years, Carleta Griffith; a loving daughter, Dawn Griffith Nally and husband, Donnie of Hagerstown, MD; three nephews, Kirk Wagner, Ronald Defelice, Jr. and Brian Defelice all of Hagerstown, MD; sister-in-law, Brenda Defelice and brother-in-law, Ronald Defelice both of Hagerstown, MD; cousin and very close friend, Sonny Leatherman of Boonsboro. He was preceded in death by one sister, Etta F. Griffith Possidente and one brother, Harry (Sonny) Griffith. Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorial donations may be made to Humane Society of Washington County, 13011 Maugansville Road, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740.
