Luther K. Reed, 87, passed away peacefully at Doey's House on Saturday, January 14, 2023.

Born August 28, 1935 in Keyser, WV, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Myrtle (Heavener) Reed.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carole L. (Snyder) Reed in May of 2000.

Luther was superintendent of Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick, MD for over 20 years.

He is survived by his six children, Steven K. Reed and wife, Kimberly, of Hamilton, AL, Tammy Fraley and husband, Rickey, of Hagerstown, Bonnie Korrell and husband, Don, of Hagerstown, Paula Coleman and husband, Clifford, of Massillon, OH, Kenny Reed and fiancé, Jennifer, of New Brunswick, NJ, and Kevin Reed and fiancé, Tabetha, of Indiana, PA; seven grandchildren, Aaron, Nicole, Josh, Brad, Tricia, Hannah, and Connor; five great-grandchildren, Diontae, Keihara, Kash, Jackson, and Jude; and five sisters.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.

Services will be private.
