LUTHER WILBERT NAYLOR, 91, a resident of Somerford Place, 10116 Sharpsburg Pike, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Monday, November 5, 2007 at the Washington County Hospital. Born November 23, 1915 in Waynesboro, Virginia, he was the son of the late Luther Wamsley and Lelia Susan Madison Naylor. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Mary Katherine Naylor, who died July 6, 1999. He was employed with Pangborn Corporation for 38 years, retiring in 1980. He was a member of Salem Reformed Church where he served on the church consistory for many years. He was a member of the WACOHU Grange for 50 years. He is survived by a son, Norman L. Naylor and wife Sandy of Hagerstown; a sister, Mary McCauley of Charlestown, West Virginia; a granddaughter, Lori Mumma and husband Jim of Williamsport, Md.; a grandson, Tim Naylor and wife Shannon of Hancock, Md. and three great grandchildren, Katelyn Mumma, Trevor Naylor and Tanner Naylor. He was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Winscher. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 100 p.m. at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd. The Rev. Steve Wagoner will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
