Mr. LuRay Clem Ausherman, 89, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on October 21, 2022. He was the beloved husband of the late Frances Martin Ausherman for 69 years.

Born October 22, 1932, in Frederick, MD, he was the son of the late Earl Edgar & Goldie Clem Ausherman.

He was a 1950 graduate of Frederick High School and served in the Army 11th Airborne Division until 1953 when he was honorably discharged. He was a diesel mechanic and retired from the MD public school system as a diesel engine instructor. He was an avid motorcyclist, enjoyed traveling, camping, and horseback endurance riding.

He is survived by daughters, Tanya Crummitt, Lori Anderson, and Katrina Romanoff, seven grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by nine siblings and a much-loved grandson.

A memorial service will be held at the Hagerstown Seventh-day Adventist Church, 11507 Robinwood Drive, on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 11 a.m.
