On the blessed day of September 7, 2023, Lucian Kendle Jones was born unto this world in Hagerstown, MD, raised in the bosom of a loving family. On October 13, 2023, our sweet, courageous, and gentle Lucian was called by the Heavenly Father to rest in the eternal garden of His love, departing at Children's National Hospital in Washington D.C.

This tender soul was the cherished son of Gavin and Angelia Kendle Jones of Funkstown, MD, the beloved brother to Cirilla and Alita Jones. Lucian was greeted in Heaven by his late paternal grandfather Brett Jones. His paternal grandmother, Krista Trovato of Hagerstown, MD, and maternal grandparents, Christopher and Kandy Kendle of Sabillasville, MD, all held him dear within their hearts. A cherished nephew to Benjamin Ellison and Tiffanie Kendle Ellison; a cousin to Haley and Brady Ellison. Lucian was also adored by his maternal great-grandparents, Donald and Patricia Cline of Smithsburg, MD and Yvonne Dodson of Greencastle, PA; great maternal aunts and uncles, Kimberly and Eric Csulak; and cousins, Everett, Sophia, and Henry Csulak of Monrovia, MD, Wallace and Cris Kendle of Greencastle, PA, Barry and Tracy Kendle of Hagerstown, MD; and paternal great uncle and aunt, Justin and Rachael Coda of Bethal Park, PA, as well as many other family members. Lucian Kendle Jones was a beacon of joy and a testimony of love, shining bright albeit his time on Earth was brief.

In his fleeting presence, this brave little warrior showed us the meaning of courage. With his gentle spirit, he taught us the depth of love. Lucian Kendle Jones, tender and precious, was indeed a blessing to us all. He was the embodiment of innocence, the epitome of love. His spirit shall continue to touch every heart that had the privilege of knowing him.

As we mourn the loss of this beautiful soul, let us not dwell on the sorrow, but instead remember the joy and love he brought into our lives. His beautiful legacy resonates in each sunrise, each bird's song, each child's laughter. It is a legacy of love, courage, and gentleness; a legacy that will forever bloom in the garden of our hearts.

May we all find solace in knowing that Lucian Kendle Jones, now rests in the heavenly embrace, free from any pain or suffering. As we bid our earthly farewell to this beloved angel, let us remember; his spirit remains with us - a beacon of loving, courageous, and gentle light. Amen.
