Lovetta "Betty" Vaughnetta (Rohrback) Lyons, 92, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away May 11, 2026, at Meritus Medical Center.

Born August 9, 1933 in Locus Valley, MD, she was the daughter of the late Jesse P. and Daisy M. (Cooper) Rohrback.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Francis Lyons.

A 1951 graduate of Brunswick High School, Betty dedicated many years of service to the Washington County Hospital Cafeteria. She was a faithful member of Hagerstown Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed square dancing in her younger years.

Betty is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Lori Gearhart and husband, William; her son, Keith Lyons and wife, Vicki; four grandchildren, Christopher Lyons and wife, Sandy, Joshua Lyons, Justin Gearhart and wife, Lisa, and Steven Gearhart; six great-grandchildren, Katie, Micah, Natalie, Hannah, Greyson, and Abbigail; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Betty was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Kurlick and Garnetta Rudy; and her brothers, Donald Rohrback, Lawrence Rohrback, and Dennis Rohrback.

A viewing will be held at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD, on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 6:00-8:00pm.

The funeral will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 11:00am. Rev. Steven Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
