LORRAINE KATHLEEN RICKARD, 60, of 213 Willard Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at the Washington County Hospital. Born February 19, 1948 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Grant Norris Sr. and Phebe Hollenbaugh Norris. She was a member of A.A.R.P. She is survived by her husband, Gerry Rickard, Sr.; one daughter, Belinda Heare of St. Petersburg, Florida; two sons, Gerry Rickard, Jr. Hagerstown, and John Dayhoff of Falling Waters, West Virginia; one sister, Anna Cooper of Hagerstown; one brother, Denny Norris of Hagerstown; seven grandchildren, Alexis Rickard of Hagerstown, Gerri Rickard of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, Tiffany Cline, Chance Cline, and P. J. Cline Jr., all of St. Petersburg, Florida, John Dayhoff, Jr. and Josh Dayhoff, both of Falling Waters, West Virginia; nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; cousins; and an uncle, Harry Hollenbaugh of Hagerstown. She was preceded in death by one son, Charles Dayhoff; and one brother, Grant "Sonny" Norris, Jr. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p. m. Sunday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Chaplain Katherine L. Lippy will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing.
