Loretta Marie McFarlin, 90, formerly of Hagerstown, passed away, Friday, May 16, 2025, at Williamsport Retirement Village.

Born January 18, 1935, in Washington County, MD, she was the daughter of the late Garnet Melville Gehr, Sr. and Nora Elton (Charles) Gehr.

Loretta was a graduate of Hagerstown High School and a member of Grace Brethren Church and then Cornerstone Community Church.

She is survived by her caregivers, Jenny and Dave Shank.

Loretta was preceded in death by her first husband, Max Spielman; and by her second husband, Lacy McFarlin; and one brother, Garnet M. Gehr, Jr.

Funeral Services will be held 1pm Friday, May 23,2025 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD with Pastor Dean Pryor officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home two hours prior to the service on Friday, May 23, 2025.
