Lola May Snyder, 79, of Funkstown, MD, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021. She was born on September 21, 1942 to the late Charles D. Mongan and Alice Smith Mongan. Lola was a strong woman, loving mother figure, and blessing to many people. She will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Patty Witek, Jeff Witek, Dwayne Witek, and Kevin Witek, and her sister, Dorothy Jones. She is survived by her son, Curtis Witek, her grandchildren, Ralph Witek-Steele and Elza Witek-Steele, her sister, Esther Shaff, her furbaby, Izzy, and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are welcomed for a Memorial Service on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 6:00pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard in Hagerstown.
