Lois S. Pratt Hanlin of Hagerstown, MD, passed away at Doey's House Tuesday, February 11, 2025. She was born November 29, 1932 in Kessell, WV.

She was preceded by her husband of 65 years, Lloyd W. Hanlin.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded by her father and mother, Lemuel E. Pratt and Ruby A. Simmons Pratt of Moorefield, WV. She was also preceded by two sisters, Betty Landis and Ruby Joy Bailey; two brothers, Edgar "Doc" Pratt and Wade "Jack" Pratt.

She is survived by three children, Judy Null (husband, Kevin) of Oakland, MD, Mark W. Hanlin (wife, Debi) of Hagerstown, MD, and Tammey Sue Brown (husband, Rick) of Hagerstown, MD; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Clarke, Michael Null, Jon Hanlin (Kari), Adam Hanlin (Jenny), Alisha Hanlin, Christopher Brown, Shawn Brown, and Bridgette Brown; three great grandchildren, Lillian, Collen, and Lincoln; sister, Dawn McCaulley of Moorefield, WV; and brother, Robert E. Pratt of Gore, VA.

Lois graduated from Moorefield High School in 1951. She played basketball for four years and worked at the telephone company while going to school. She retired from Sears and Roebuck after 26 years. Lois enjoyed playing golf. She was a homemaker and loved to cook and bake, these were her greatest hobbies.

The funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, with Pastor Virgil Cain officiating, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6pm to 8pm on Monday, February 17, 2025.
