LOIS MARIE EWAN, 86, formerly of 17810 Bluebell Drive, Hagerstown, Md. died on Sunday, April 29, 2007 at Julia Manor Nursing Home. Born September 25, 1920 in Bedington, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Edwin Earl and Lillie Mae Aikens Mohler. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. Wade Ewan who died February 15, 1990. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church and the Fidelity Sunday School Class, the United Methodist Women and the Otterbein Seniors. She was a charter member of the Maugansville Homemakers Club and also a charter member of the Maugansville Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary. She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Schneider of Hagerstown; and a son, John Ewan of Hagerstown; three grandsons, Scott Schneider and Mark Schneider, both of Hagerstown and Eric Schneider of Roanoke, Virginia. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. The Rev. Dr. Stephen D. Robison will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
