Lloyd Allen Griffith, 76, of Point of Rocks, MD, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022.  Born October 4, 1946, he was the son of the late Lloyd S. and Mildred E. (Martin) Griffith.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Margie "Sue" Griffith on June 27, 2020.

Lloyd worked for the IUOE Operating Engineers, Local 99, for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working on cars.

He is survived by his daughter, Mary L. Griffith; four grandchildren, Alicia M. Spataro, Cody A. Brandenburg, Nicole A. Fleming, and Kyler A. Fleming; and two sisters, Beverly A. Griffith and April Bryan.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Carol A. Grimm-Keesecker; and two brothers, Arnold E. Griffith and Donald Griffith, Sr.

The funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Bill Divelbiss will officiate. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 4pm to 6pm.
