Linda Kay Young, 82, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Tuesday July 21, 2026 at Doey's House.

She was born on September 26, 1943, to the late Frank and Mary Jane Sipes, of Needmore, PA.

Linda graduated from Southern Fulton High School in 1961 and moved to Hagerstown to attend Nursing School. She spent her life as a dedicated and compassionate nurse, working in different capacities within Washington County Hospital, including as a Patient Care Manager and in the Recovery/PACU unit.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Young. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Young; and grandchildren, Donald Dintaman III, Elizabeth (Dintaman) Lind, Laurel Dintaman, and William Luther IV.

Linda was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and dearly loved time spent with her grandchildren. Her family would like to thank the kind and caring staff at Doey's House.
