Linda Susan Spalding, 69, of Funkstown, MD, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022. She was born on October 14, 1953 to the late Nicholas Levi and Ollie Smith.

Linda was a graduate of South Hagerstown High School. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Funkstown Legion Dixon-Troxell Post 211 and worked in the kitchen there for 10 years. Most of all, she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Lynn Fogle Spalding Jr., her daughters, Tia Spalding Ward and Melissa Shupp and her husband, Frank L. Shupp Jr., her grandchildren, Lynn F. Spalding III, Karissa M. Flook, Tava L. Crespo Kilo and her fiancé, Jeremy Boles, Pablo J. Crespo Kilo, and Aidan M. Shupp, her great-grandsons, Gavin C. Spalding and Liam J. Boles, and her sister-in-law, Tammy J. King.

Family and friends are welcomed for a visitation on Friday, November 4, 2022 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard in Hagerstown, MD.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 3:00pm at the funeral home.

Interment will be private.
