LINDA ELLEN PIKE, 74, of 18612 Wagaman Road, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at the Washington County Hospital. Born October 3, 1933 in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Griffith and Hazel Richner Griffith Sayers. She was a member of the Spotswood Baptist Church, Virginia. She is survived by her husband, George William Pike, Sr.; two daughters, Laurie M. Herr of West Virginia, and Linda L. Price of Virginia; two sons, George W. Pike, Jr., and Robert S. Pike, both of Hagerstown; one sister, Faye Emel of Pennsylvania; four brothers, William Griffith, Frank Sayers, and Jerry Sayers, all of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, and Dale Sayers of Milesburg, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandchild, and one sister, Katie Sayers. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p. m. Saturday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Pastor Ron Key will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park on Monday, October 22, 2007 at 1:30 p. m. Family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the service on Saturday from 11:30a.m. to 1:30p.m.
