Linda Louise May, 81, of Fairplay, MD, passed away, Friday morning, July 18, 2025, at her home.

Born July 7, 1944 in Sharpsburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Jeanette (Criswell) Holmes.

She was a retired mail carrier with the U. S. Postal Service and a member of Sharpsburg Bible Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Fred" May, whom she married on September 9, 1962; and a sister, Venetta Potts.

Linda is survived by three sons, Donald and Kevin May, both of Fairplay, and Todd May and wife, Donna, of Hagerstown; and three grandchildren, Darren May, Chambersburg, PA, and Sarah May and Kristina Troutman, both of Hagerstown.

Funeral services will be 11am Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Sharpsburg Bible Church, 5134 General Stuart Ct., Sharpsburg, MD with Pastor Gene Renner officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.
