Linda Diane Kendle, 72, of Hagerstown, passed away on May 17, 2026, at Meritus Medical Center.

Born January 2, 1954, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Granson Grimm and Esther Evelyn (Shoemaker) Grimm.

Linda was a devoted wife and mother. Her kindness touched everyone around her. She was known for her cooking and always made sure no one left her home hungry. She enjoyed doing word searches, loved animals, and found comfort in her Christian faith. Linda had a caring heart and treated many people as family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Terry Kendle; her daughter, Crystal Kendle; her beloved four-legged "grandkid," Precious; and many extended family members and friends who held a special place in her heart, including a daughter at heart, Merrissa.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
