Linda Kay DeWeerd, 65, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Meritus Medical Center. Born March 6, 1948, in Holland, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late James and Frances Wilterdink VanIwaarden. Linda graduated from West Ottawa High School, Holland, Michigan, class of 1966. She loved skydiving, racing cars, and her cat, Kit Kat. She is survived by a daughter Tammy DeWeerd; a son, Kurtis DeWeerd; a granddaughter, Morgan Misero; two sisters Evie Dykstra and husband Terry, and Leona Fockler and husband Ross. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Nylund. Services will be at the convenience of the family.
