LILLIAN PEARL ROWE, 77, of 24 ½ East Franklin Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at the Washington County Hospital. Born December 26, 1926 in Hancock, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Roy Roscoe and Florence King Rider. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Rowe who died in 1987. She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir for 60 years, was a Sunday School teacher and a member of the Energizers group. She was a member of the Senior Bowling League at Southside Bowl. She is survived by six daughters, Vickie Lookabaugh, Kathy Kershner , Debbie Tedrick, all of Hagerstown, Sally Byrd of Florida, Penny Webster of Edgewood, Md, and Cindy Gillespie of Georgia; two sons, Denny Rowe and Bobby Rowe, both of Hagerstown, a brother, Howard Rider of Vero Beach, Florida; 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Esther Rider. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Boulevard. The Rev. C. Michael Henning will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 1020 Maryland Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740.
