Obituary

Leslie Philip Grams, 82, of Williamsport, MD, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Meritus Medical Center.

Born April 29, 1943, in Frederick, MD, he was the son of the late Thomas Franklin and Madeline Virginia (Springer) Grams.

Leslie honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from the Food and Drug Administration. He faithfully attended Sharpsburg Bible Church. He was deeply cherished by the staff at Twin Oaks in Williamsport, where he formed many meaningful connections and a special thank you to Lisa Jenkins for her compassion.

He is survived by four sisters, Mary Masser, Eunice Parsons (husband, Ramon), Dorothy Gross (husband, Butch), and Lydia Ramsburg (husband, Kenny); two brothers, Vernon Grams (wife, Astra) and David Grams (wife, Jenny); sisters-in-law, Beatie Grams and JoAnn Grams; brother-in-law, David Zepp; many nieces and nephews that he adored.

In addition to his parents, Leslie was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruthie Zepp and Esther Foster (and husband, Downing); two brothers, Clarence "Tommy" Grams and Howard "Sonny" Grams; and brother-in-laws, Bob Masser and Rory Stewart.

The funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Rev. Gene Renner will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Military honors provided by Joint Veterans Council and Marine Corps League of Washington County.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10am.
