LESLIE CADE, 95, of Hagerstown, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at his home. Born July 11, 1919 in Snowhill, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Nathan and Laura Young Cade. Leslie was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church. He loved his family and his passion was fishing. Leslie also loved to play poker and prior to his marriage he played the guitar in a band. He retired from Hazleton Labs. Leslie is survived by his wife of 44years, Sharon Elaine "Smith" Cade of Hagerstown; three daughters, Cindy Elaine Pratt and husband Jared of Potomac, MD., Amy Michelle Scarzella and husband Marco of Frederick, MD., and Rebecca Lynn Thornsberry and husband Michael of Hagerstown; one special granddaughter, Brittany May Morse and husband Kyle of Connecticut; ten other grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and six brothers. Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 20, 1 pm, at Rose Hill Cemetery, 600 S. Potomac St. Hagerstown, MD. The Rev. C. Michael Henning will officiate. Following the service military honors will be conducted by Morris Frock Post #42, The American Legion.
