LEONARD JOHN REPK0, 82, of Greenfield Avenue, Maugansville, Maryland, died on Monday, August 3, 2009 at Roselawn Terrace Nursing Home in Alliance, Ohio. Born October 10, 1926 in Jamestown, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late John and Susan Pearhac Repko. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Repko on May 30, 2009. He previously attended St. Francis College in Loretta, Pennsylvania. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War, serving in the U. S. Air Force. He retired from Mack Truck. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. He was a member of Morris Frock American Legion, Post 42, and the V. F. W. #1936. He is survived by one son, Michael Repko of Maugansville, Maryland; one daughter, JoAnn McGrew of Alliance, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Eric S. Johnson, Heather M. Whitfield, and Sarah A. Johnson. He was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Repko. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ann Catholic Church on Friday at 11:30 a. m. Rev. C. Doug Kenney will be celebrant. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted at the cemetery by Morris Frock American Legion, Post 42. There will be no viewing. Family requests omission of flowers and memorial donations to Roselawn Terrace Nursing Home, 11999 Klinger Northeast, Alliance, Ohio 44601, or St. Ann Catholic Church, 1525 Oak Hill Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740.
