Leonard Guy Reigel, 90, formerly of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Chambers Pointe Health Care Center.

Born January 20, 1935, in Harrisburg, PA, he was the son of the late Todd H. Reigel and Jean (Roadarmel) Reigel Dixon, and stepmother Edna Reigel.

Leonard retired from Frito-Lay. He was a founding member of Emmanuel Baptist Temple and a lifelong member of the Clear Spring Fire Department. He was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Evelyn "Bonnie" Reigel, as well as his parents and seven sisters.

Leonard is survived by his daughters, Darletta Gladhill and her husband, Tony, and Debbie Sagi and her husband, Alan. He also leaves behind three grandchildren: Lacy Neat and her husband, Rob, Ryan Yost and his wife, Amy, and Danielle Startzman and her husband, Charlie. He was a proud great-grandfather to seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister, June Ellis and his cherished companion, Pepper.

The funeral will be held at 1pm on Monday, June 2, 2025, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Don Conley will officiate. Burial will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the funeral home.
