Leo Vernon Norris, 83, of Hagerstown, passed away, Friday, March 3, 2023, at Doey's House.

Born March 14, 1939 in Locust Valley, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Edward and Myrie Ellen (Gladhill) Norris.

Leo was a truck driver all his life for numerous places.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mary Ann Norris; one son, Robert Norris, and wife, Linda; one stepdaughter, Karen Smith; two sisters, Ruth Haller and husband, Charles, and Clara Bart, and husband, Joe; one brother, Edgar Norris, and wife, Diane; two special friends, Wayne Henson and Jerry Mellott; and his most special four-legged companion, Callie.

Leo was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Karen Louise Norris; one sister, Libby Marshall, and one brother, Charles Norris.

At his request, Leo was cremated and there will be no viewing.

A memorial service will be held 11am Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at St. James Brethren Church, 17718 Lappans Rd., Fairplay, MD. Pastor Don White and Pastor Tom Michael will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Myersville.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Wednesday.
