LAURIE GENE CONNOR, 71, formerly of Lincoln Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Reeder's Memorial Home, Boonsboro, MD. Born April 22, 1939 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Elizabeth K. Matthews Dudley. Laurie was retired from Washington County Board of Education in the data processing department after forty years of service. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She is survived by William Connor; sister in law Peggy Dudley, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Henry Dudley, Robert Dudley and Edward Dudley. Graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, MD. The Rev. Christopher Moore will officiate. There will be no viewing.
