Larry David Tosten, 74, of Hancock, MD, passed away January 17, 2026 at his home.

Born November 19, 1951 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Earl Junior and Nellie Alice (Eichelberger) Tosten.

Larry was a graduate of North Hagerstown High School. He later retired from Frederick Memorial Hospital, where he dedicated more than ten years of service as a pharmacy technician.

He is survived by his niece, Kristena Matthews; great-nephew, Tayshon Matthews; great-niece, Brittany Gosey and her husband, Clinton Gosey, Jr., and their children, Khali, Kendrix, and Kennadi Gosey; nephew, Brandyn Tosten and his wife, Alyssa, and their daughter, Ava Tosten; cousin, Dorothea Myers; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Earl Tosten; great-nephew, Tiheen J. Matthews, Jr.; great-great-nephew, Clinton Gosey III; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 6-8pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Minnich Funeral Home to help defray funeral costs.
