Larry Gene Rowe Sr., 79, of Williamsport, MD, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024. He was born on September 15, 1945 to the late John David Rowe Sr. and Pauline Catherine Thomas Rowe.

Larry enjoyed watching westerns and wrestling. He especially enjoyed trips to the beach with his family- even if he rarely touched the sand, and any celebration where his family was together. He will be deeply missed as a father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Ann Rowe, his sisters, Christine Hines and Donna Peters, his brother, Richard Thomas, and his great-granddaughter, Freya Owen.

He is survived by his children, Katherine Atha (Bradley), Hazel Rowe, Larry G. Rowe Jr. (Terra), and Christopher Howlett, his grandchildren, Heather Owen, Marlana Reed, Eric Atha, Ashley Blandford, Branden Rowe, Krystal Frisch, Chad Atha, and Carson Howlett, eleven great-grandchildren, his brothers, John D. Rowe Jr. (Pat), Jerry Rowe (Carlene), and Gary Rowe (Linda), and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcomed for a visitation on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard in Hagerstown.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 11:00am at Rose Hill Cemetery, 600 South Potomac Street in Hagerstown.
