LARRY LEE MYERS, 68, of 1700 Abbey Lane, Hagerstown, Maryland, passed on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia. Born October 18, 1942 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Lester L. Myers, Jr. and Doris L. Warner Myers. He was employed by Mack Truck/Volvo for forty-five years. He was a charter member of Bulldog Credit Union; member of U.A.W. Local 171, and a union representative for many years; a committeeman for several years; a former President and current member of U. A. W. Golf League #171; and was a contract negotiator for U. A. W #171. He was a beneficiary member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #694 of Hagerstown; the Williamsport Redmen Tribe #84. He loved to golf, and vacation with his wife and loving family. He is survived by his wife of twenty-three years, Margaret �Crickett� Myers; one daughter, Heather Myers of Hagerstown; a special friend, Scott Leeney of Hagerstown; two sisters, Dottie Dean of Middletown, Maryland, and Dee Surrena of Hagerstown; mother-in-law, Betty Moore of Hagerstown, Maryland; two sisters-in-law, Melody Crabtree of Hampton, Virginia, and Emma Jean Myers of Hagerstown; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Tuesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. The Rev. Dr. A. Paul Harne will officiate.
