Lance "Tony" Bradley Derr, 54, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017. Born June 25, 1962 in Hagerstown, he was the son of Catherine M. (Derr) Rinehart and the late Theodore M. Hoffman. Tony devoted his whole life as an auto mechanic. He was a member of Virginia Avenue Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, Tony is survived by his step-father, Harry G. Rinehart, Jr.; one sister, Amanda Heinbaugh; one niece, Aleigha Heinbaugh; and two nephews, Andrew Bradley Leer and Leonard Heinbaugh, III. A graveside service will be held 1pm Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery, 12704 Wolfsville Road, Smithsburg, MD. Deacon Greg Moseley will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday, May 22, 2017 from 6 to 8pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.
