Kristina Lynne (Baker) Weaver, 75, of Fairplay, Maryland, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 26, 2024 at Doey's House in Hagerstown, MD following a courageous battle against Lymphoma.

Kristy was married to Douglas Weaver her high school sweetheart for 55 years.

Born on June 20th, 1949, in Hagerstown, MD. She was the oldest child of the late Harold Augustus (Gus) and Phyllis Lorraine (Shank) Baker. She is survived by her sisters Coleen Sharon, Annette Grove and a brother Brian Baker. She also adored her dear aunt Joanne Byers.

Kristy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cheering on her sons and granddaughters in their various sports over the years. She was a devoted registered nurse for over 40 years in various settings until finally retiring from Tri-State Community Health Center as the Director of Nursing where she found her true passion.

She loved immensely her two sons and their families. Robert Weaver (Angie) of York, PA and Brad Weaver (Kim) in Fairplay, MD and her granddaughters Cecilia, Sophia, McKenna, Payton and a great grandson Oliver. She was predeceased by an infant grandson Nathaniel.

Kristy graduated from Williamsport High School in 1967 and was of Christian faith and actively involved with Downsville Christian Church.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD, on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 6-8 pm.

Funeral Service will be held at Minnich Funeral Home Friday, January 3, 2025 at 1pm with Rev. Craig L. Jones officiating. Interment at Rest Haven Cemetery in Hagerstown, MD to follow.
