KENNETH LEON SEAL, 84 of Boonsboro, MD passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown, MD. Born June 13, 1931, he was the son of the late Hubert Nelson and Iva Catherine Short Seal. Kenneth served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He retired from the railroad. Kenneth previously worked for Fairchild and Hagerstown Paint and Glass. He loved fishing and the outdoors. Kenneth was a member of Washington County Amvets Post #10. Kenneth is survived by one daughter, Cynthia K. Seal of Hagerstown, MD; five grandchildren, Megan Seal, Dawn Evans, Michael Seal, Kristen Holt and Bobby Holt; 6 great grandchildren and one brother, Cecil Seal. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Mae Seal on January 12, 2001; one daughter, Kathy Lou Holt and two brothers, Francis David Seal and Donald Seal. Services will be held 1 p.m., Friday, March 25, 2016 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Bill Divelbiss will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport, MD. Graveside military honors provided by Joint Veterans Council and Marine Corp. League of Hagerstown. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
