Kenneth Gene Purdham, 87, of Falling Waters, WV, passed away, Friday, February 14, 2025, at Meritus Medical Center.

Born March 21, 1937 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Isaac N. and Elsie L. (Shindle) Purdham.

Kenneth worked with Purdham Brothers for 40 years and was the owner, along with his wife, of Purdham and Purdham for over 20 years. He flipped many homes over the years.

He was a member of American Legion, Post 202, Williamsport Red Men, Lodge 84, and for over 50 years, Amvets, Post 38 in Falling Waters, where he was the last of the founding members. Kenneth was a member of Trinty Lutheran Church in Hagerstown for over 40 years. He loved to eat out, especially at the "Dutch Kitchen".

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Judy Purdham; one daughter, Jan Pine; five grandchildren, Summer, Joeb, and Caleb Pine, Jaime and Joey; one sister, Dorothy Heil; one brother, Elmer Purdham; and five nephews.

Kenneth was preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth Purdham, Jr. and Jody Rosenberry; one sister, Shirley Smith; and four brothers, Donald, Richard, Harold, and Ralph Purdham.

Graveside services will be 1 pm Friday, February 21, 2025 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Pastor Greg Shook officiating.

The family will receive friends at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD, on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 5-7pm.  Friends may stop by anytime on Thursday.
