KENNETH L. "BEETLE" BLOYER, 75, of 14719 Clear Spring Road, Williamsport, Maryland, and formerly of Hagerstown, Maryland, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Meritus Medical Center, after a long battle with cancer. He attended Grace United Methodist Church in Hagerstown. He was a graduate of Clear Spring High School. Beetle was best known as a brick mason where he was employed by several masonry companies throughout his life. He enjoyed sports and car races. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his children, Gary Bloyer of Smithsburg, Terri Miller of Williamsport, Kristi Brechbill of Hagerstown, and Mark Bloyer of Williamsport; two sisters, Mary M. Hose of Williamsport, Rayetta M. Murray of Hagerstown; one brother, Charles F. Bloyer Jr. of Hagerstown; grandchildren, Andy, Misty, Danielle, Gary Jr., Kari, Annie, Zach, and Josh; and thirteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Cecelia White Bloyer; four sisters, Frances G. Vaughn, Helen L. Smith, Mildred M. Bloom, and Kathleen E. Murray; one brother, Joseph E. Bloyer. Services will be held at Minnich Funeral Home, East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown on Monday at 11:00 a. m. The Rev. Bennett G. Murray will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 7 to 9 p. m.
