KEITH RANDALL STEMEN, 89, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Doeys House. Born, February 06, 1929 in LaGrange, IN, he was the son of the late Harold J. and Velma Leona (Adam) Stemen. Keith was a fighter pilot and flight instructor. He retired as a Major from the Air Force after twenty-four years of service. Keith worked for several local Electric Companies. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and spending time with his family. Keith was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church of Chewsville. Keith is survived by his wife of sixty-five years this Sunday, Joan Sweeney Stemen; a daughter, Lori Dellinger and husband, Gene; a granddaughter, Courtney Barber and husband, Dale; a brother, Robert Neill Stemen and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by a son, Douglas L. Stemen and three brothers. Graveside services will be held at 1 pm, Friday, July 20, 2018 at Rose Hill Cemetery. The Rev. John Schidlt will officiate. There will be no visitation or viewing. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Doeys House, 11370 Caring Pathway Lane, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
