Kay Frances Beatty, 83, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Doey's House.

Born May 27, 1939, in Winchester, VA, she was the daughter of the late Beauford Thurman and Marjorie (Pitcock) Pugh.

Kay was preceded in death by her husband, William Carl Beatty, Jr.

Kay retired from Washington County Hospital where she worked in the kitchen.

She was a member of Bible Brethren Church.

Kay was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and neighbor. She loved her family to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with her many cats, including her beloved Kitzy. Her smile and laughter were infectious. She never met a person or neighbor that she couldn't get along with.

Kay is survived by two sons, Jeff Beatty and wife, Betsey, and Michael Beatty; 10 grandchildren, Brock Marquis (Amy), Jacob Marquis (Sarah), Austin Marquis (Kaitlyn), Sarah Collins (Rick), Elizabeth Beatty, Hope Beatty, Hunter Beatty, Brooks Beatty, Kiona Beatty, and Landon Beatty; and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Dawn Marquis, and her son, Todd Andrew Beatty.

Services will be private.

A visitation will be held at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD, on Monday, October 31, 2022, from 6-8pm.
