Katrina Dell Shoemaker, 65, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away early Friday morning, March 27, 2026, at her home.

Katrina was born November 24, 1960 to the late Leon Carroll Bond, Sr. and Edna Frances (Long) Bond. She was a North Hagerstown High School graduate and was employed as a School Bus Driver for Washington County Board of Education for over 20 years. Katrina was a Past Pocahontas of Williamsport Redman Tribe #84. She especially loved riding motorcycles with her husband.

Katrina was preceded by her husband, David Shoemaker; and two sons, Brandon Shoemaker and Brad Bond.

She is survived by her son, Bryce Shoemaker; two sisters, Brenda Bond, and Denise Carpenter; and one brother Leon Bond, Jr.

A visitation will be held 6-8pm Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.

Graveside services will be 1pm Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Broadfording Memorial Gardens,16109 Broadfording Rd., Hagerstown, Md.  Pastor Allen Robinson will officiate.

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Minnich Funeral Home to help defray funeral costs.
