Obituary

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Kathy Jean Ganoe, a beacon of love and faith who returned to her Heavenly Father on the 12th of December, 2024. Kathy, born on the 9th of August, 1967, in Hagerstown, Maryland, graced this world with her presence for fifty-seven years, and it is in this same cherished town that she took her last breath.

Kathy, was a devoted wife to her husband, Jack Ganoe, and a nurturing mother to her sons, Bryant Litton (Jen Litton) and Christopher Mozingo (Corinne Hornbaker). Her love extended to her dear mother, Shirley Mozingo, and her brother, Michael Mozingo. She is also survived by her three grandsons Parker, Conner, and Xander. She was preceded in glory by her father, Anthony Mozingo, with whom she is now joyously reunited.

Educated at St. Maria Goretti High School, Kathy then went onto working at Professional Dry Cleaners, and then Gibney's Florist, where she cultivated beauty, brought smiles to many faces, and touched everyone's hearts.

Kathy's life was a melody, moving to the rhythm of disco music, which brought vivacity to her soul. She found peace and rejuvenation in her trips to Deep Creek Lake, where the waters reflected the tranquility and depth of her spirit.

Describing Kathy as loving and thoughtful barely scratches the surface of her essence. She was a woman whose faith-filled heart guided her every action, and her legacy is one of unwavering love and selfless devotion. She was a pillar in the lives of those who knew her, a testament to the virtues of kindness and compassion.

As we bid farewell to Kathy Jean Ganoe, let us not dwell on sorrow but celebrate the gift of her life. She walked among us as an angel in disguise, and now she dances in the eternal joy of our Lord's embrace. Her spirit lives on in the hearts she touched, and her memory will continue to inspire us to live with grace and love.

And so, dear friends, let us release Kathy into the arms of our Savior with gratitude. We will cherish her memory until we meet her again in glory.

A viewing will be held on Monday, December 16th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown MD.
