Kathy Blickenstaff, 80, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the home of her son in Williamsport, MD.

Born September 12, 1944 in Boonsboro, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles Howard and Jane Corrine (Muck) Cosens.

Kathy was previously employed as a hairstylist and a caretaker for the elderly.

She is survived by her son, Charles (Chad) Blickenstaff, III (Kathryn); one sister, Priscilla Shingleton; one brother, Reginald Cosens; grandchildren, Whitney Blickenstaff, Charles (Chase) Blickenstaff, IV (Emily), Jayce Bastian, Landyn "Noah", Brandon Mullins, Lorna Mullins, and Kamiron Miller; and one great granddaughter, Ellie Acrista Blickenstaff; and former husband, Charles "Pete" Blickenstaff, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Amy Blickenstaff Bastian; one sister, Georgina Cosens; and three brothers, Kenneth Cosens, Sr., Richard (Dick) Cosens, and Charles (Tim) Cosens, Jr.

Funeral services will be 7 pm Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to services on Wednesday.
