KATHRYN JANE YINGLING, 87, of 18915 Dover Drive, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at the Washington County Hospital. Born October 6, 1921 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Wilmer E. D. and Mabel Mae Ehrhart Kretzer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph �Bert� Yingling on December 22, 1996. She graduated from the Hospital for the Women of Maryland nursing program. She and her husband owned and operated Yingling�s Golf Center, until 1990. She was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church. She was a lifetime member of Soroptimist International, and the Chewsville Lioness. She is survived by two daughters, Susan Hutzell of Smithsburg, Maryland, and Diana Rau of Fraser, Colorado; one son, Jeffrey Yingling of Hagerstown; grandchildren, Amy Yingling, Stacey Bishop, Dennis Hutzell, and Scott Hutzell. She was preceded in death by two sisters, B. Lorraine Moser, and Mary Ellen Rohrer; two brothers, William E. Kretzer, and twin, Wilmer E. D. Kretzer; and one grandson, Timothy C. Rau. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p. m. at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Dr. Stephen D. Robison will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 to 8 p. m., and one hour prior to the service.
