Joan "Joni" C. Hodgson Young, 92, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died on December 20, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Jay Werdebaugh and is survived by her five granddaughters and eight great-grandchildren.

Joni was a graduate of Hagerstown High School Class of 1950 and Frostburg State University Class of 2012. She was a member of the Interstate Coin Club and a member of the Meritus Volunteer group.
